In an episode of WatchMojo’s Unveiled podcast, Dr. Steven Greer—physician, author, and founder of the Disclosure Project—discusses what he views as a pivotal moment for UFO/UAP disclosure, the role of covert programs, and his CE-5 protocol for human-initiated contact.
On the “cosmological confusion”
Greer says the public is being pushed to assume all advanced craft are extraterrestrial, when some are, in his view, human-made:
“People don’t know what’s extraterrestrial versus what’s ours versus what’s from another dimension.”
“If you accept that disinformation narrative that we don’t have anything that can move like that… you’re going to reach the conclusion that everything… is alien.”
Alleged false-flag operations and media control
Greer claims intelligence services have staged incidents to fuel fear and shape narratives:
“CIA is using advanced tech to stage false alien abductions in Brazil and Argentina… for its psychological warfare value.”
“Media corporations are vertically and horizontally integrated into this covert system. And if you actually speak the truth… you will be cancelled.”
Suppressed technology and energy
He argues that advanced propulsion and energy breakthroughs have existed for decades:
“We had mastered gravity control… by October 1954.”
The secrecy, he says, aims to “hide the technologies that would terminate oil and nuclear power,” and to justify “a global military-industrial complex response to a threat from outer space.”
Transnational programs and law enforcement
Greer describes the core of these activities as criminal and beyond normal oversight:
“There is a transnational criminal organization that is running these programs… that would make the mafia look like a minor law enforcement problem.”
Laws alone are insufficient without enforcement: “If there’s no law enforcement, it doesn’t really matter.” He references RICO prosecutions and executive orders as tools he recommends.
Risks of “catastrophic disclosure”
Greer warns that a fear-based rollout could drive militarization:
“We’re at a key turning point where we’re gonna have to choose… If it’s managed improperly it would be much worse than… COVID.”
He contrasts two paths: a narrative that induces panic and war vs. one that confirms non-hostile presence and releases transformative technologies.
Artifacts, mummies, and the “Bogo Sphere”
He revisits past biological claims and new materials under review:
On prior analyses he disputes: “Unfortunately that research was completely… fraudulently done.”
On a metallic sphere reportedly recovered in Colombia and later examined in Mexico: he notes fiber-optic-like filaments and unusual alloy features, adding, “I would give it a 90% likelihood that it’s of extraterrestrial origin, age unknown,” while saying further lab testing is needed.
Whistleblowers and archives
Greer points to his archive and calls for more testimony:
“It’s 35 years of accumulated evidence… whistleblower testimony… It’s all in there.”
“We’re making a call for more whistleblowers, particularly ones with actionable intelligence.”
CE-5 and citizen-led contact
Greer presents CE-5 as a peaceful, civilian approach to engagement:
“We invite them to interact and come near us if it is safe for them and for us.”
He describes communication via consciousness and “coherent thought,” and contrasts this with claims that some covert programs have “weaponized” similar interfaces to target ET craft.
The choice ahead
Greer frames the next phase as a collective decision point:
“This is going to happen… and it has to be managed properly.”
A positive outcome, he says, would acknowledge “we’re not alone,” confirm that “they’re not hostile,” and release technologies that could “end poverty and end pollution within 15 or 20 years.”
